With this issue Vittles, Vintages & Voyages starts its 20th year. It started with the concept of providing stories on places that had actually been experienced by the Writer and this has never varied. Whether written by the Editor or one of the talented professionals whose bylines appear over the story it represents the actual experiences. We are thankful to have staffers like Raymonde Lorgeou and Jeanne Bartlett who put up with a crabby editor always mumbling about deadlines. We mourn the loss of Vern Lanegrasse whose byline was present for almost all these 20 years.
Over these twenty years many of our readers have moved from the printed edition to our website www.vittlesvoyages.com. But this Editor has spent two thirds of a lifetime devoted to print journalism so Vittles will continue with its newsletter format.
As for the future we see no reason to change any of our original concepts and policies. We write about the good leaving the bad for others to chronicle. So we move on and hope our readers will continue to look forward to future issues of Vittles, Vintages & Voyages.
